The simple cup is true to its name. It has a simple expression with a flat bottom and a straight cylindric body. It comes in many variations, some glazed inside-out, some with and unglazed tactile outside, and some made using an experimental technique in which pigmented porcelain or stoneware is worked into a plain body creating unique, surprising patterns.
